Gourmet Magazine called Literati 2 as one of the best "farm to table" restaurants in America. Critics have said that Chef Chris Kidder and his staff create generous, soulful and unforgettable meals for guests who appreciate the quality that comes from careful selection, handling and cooking of seasonal, local ingredients. Described as an LA treasure, and honored by food writers and the James Beard Foundation, Literati 2 is a favorite lunch, brunch and dinner spot for Brentwood, West LA and Santa Monica professionals, residents, entertainment industry people and tourists. The menu changes frequently, but guest favorites include octopus bruschetta, prosciutto and burrata, and extraordinary steaks, seasonal seafood and wild salmon cooked on the wood fired grill. Literati 2 has a full bar and an exceptional wine list. Desserts are all made from scratch in the kitchen, including ice cream and sorbets, churros, fruit crisps and cakes.
