Long wait but awesome brunch

We waited almost an hour for a table (group of 8) but it was definitely worth it.
The coffee’s strong and the grits are fabulously thick (and I’m not normally a fan of grits). I stole some pancakes from my friend’s plate after seeing how thick and fluffly they are – definitely my fave restaurant pancakes so far. And the syrup’s real!
Don’t skip the biscuits either.
Yes, it’s a theme restaurant, but it’s discreet. We had great service – friendly without hovering.
I’m constantly looking for an excuse to come back for brunch…

    Thick, dense and tender at the same time. Two’s enough for a meal. My new standard for restaurant pancakes.

    grits

    So thick you can stand a spoon in them. Creamy and slightly salty, they don’t even need butter to taste fab.
