It’s a great little Taiwanese restaurant on Castro Street in Mountain View. Place is usually packed but I’ve been here a few times for a late dinner. It hasn’t disappointed me yet.

supreme queen's house

even though i’ve moved far far away from the bay, queen’s house still holds a special place in my tummy for its delicious taiwanese breakfast.

you can’t go wrong eating here.

but watch out for the rush hour times – it can get super crowded.

Authentic

I love this place. It’s a family (& friends) run restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years.. and years…and years. As a Taiwanese person, I feel like the things came straight from Taiwan. You can also get Tea Era drinks from next door delivered to your table. The tables are clean, food is great (bathrooms less so).

I have to agree with the others that the Beef Noodle Soup rules. It’s tender meat that just falls apart in your mouth.

What I ate:
  • ****

I really like the onion pancake. I’m not quite sure if its called onion pancake in English though. It’s a bit on the oily side as expected, but quite fun to eat.

  • *****

This is even way better than what you can find in Taiwan. It’s that good.

Extras:

Mmm...Beef Noodle Soup!

The beef noodle soup here can’t be beat! The authentic hand pulled noodles are the best around. The beef broth is very spicy, the way it should be. For $5, you get a huge bowl, making it the best $5 meal you can get!

What I ate:

    Simply the best.
