Hectors is a nice place to go on a sunny afternoon to chill out over some beers and appetizers. Make sure to sit at the bar area, and ideally next to one of the open windows – otherwise the rest of the bar is pretty dimly lit. They’ve got a decent selection of beers on tap, and the crowd can get pretty lively.

lively breakfast spot on the Kirkland waterfront

Hectors is a lively spot on the Kirkland waterfront. They server all meals, but I came here for lunch. They server breakfast food through lunch as well – so I ordered a fruit parfait that was quite good. The place was packed with a line outside, as are most of the top breakfast/brunch/lunch places on the weekends. Hectors is a good choice on the weekend if you want some good quality food. I like this place, though I know there are still better places out there for breakfast. To be fair I need to try more of their dishes to be sure.

A nice light dish for breakfast. Fresh strawberries and bananas with granola and yogurt. The granola is homemade and especially delicious.

good for drinks but not breakfast

Like most restaurants in downtown kirkland this place has a really nice atmosphere. they have a full breakfast menu but they don’t seem to do a good job with their breakfast dishes. last time i went the service was really bad; the waitress got us the wrong kind of toast and was not interested to refill our coffee unless we asked.
