Great sushi, fairly priced

I’m a fairly discerning sushi eater. If I had to point out the best thing about Katsu is the quality of fish. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t first rate at Katsu. Nigiri individual prices run about $2-4 by my recollection, a fair price given the quality of the fish. On top of that, Katsu is exceedingly generous with the quantity I’d say that his nigiri has just about twice the quantity of fish you would usually get. Katsu and his wife run the restaurant impeccably, always friendly and polite. The ambiance is up scale, but not trendy, more on the traditional. All the other traditional items are also both tasty and high quality. The sake list is also good. You just cannot go wrong.
