I went to this place because they dropped by my office with free babecue sandwiches. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the pig’s head in the lobby. It stares at you as if to say “go ahead. Eat me.” The meat was tender, but the sauce was watery and flavorless—not really what I look for in barbecue. I really wouldn’t recomment it.

My wife and I decided to compare Baker’s Ribs and nearby JJ’s Ribs. There really was no comparison. Baker’s won hands down. Their service was much faster, and the ribs were MUCH more flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy.

We prefer ribs with sauce on the side. Baker’s ribs has more than enough smoke flavor and spice rub flavor without even needing any sauce, which is good because I didn’t like their sauce very much.

Recommendation: If you love ribs without sauce but with a lot of flavor, you’ll love Baker’s. If you like ribs with sauce, bring your own sauce and order them without. It’s well worth it.
