Barney’s has a variety of different types of burgers. It has beef, chicken, turkey, and vegetarian burgers. There is a burger for everyone. The burger prices are about what you would expect for a gourmet burger. The good thing about these burgers are that they are actually relatively healthy compared to other burgers. They use only certain types of beef that meet certain standards. The patties still taste great too! They are decent sized and should fill up most people, though not all. If that is the case, you can also order a side of fries or a maybe a sampler plate. Their fries are delicious and the sampler plate comes with various fried goodness.

I recommend people to come to this place if they want a burger slightly different than other burger joints. It is also a good place to go if you have a diverse group, due to their great variety of burgers.

whenever i’m in the mood for burgers & fries, barney’s comes to mind in the berkeley area. they’ve got red meat as well as chicken burgers (which i usually get) and tasty garlic fries that are sure enough to make you want some more on your next visit back. very casual, but still a nice place to grab a burger & fries.

Not a big fan of hamburgers…the oreo milkshake was delicious though…

Still my favorite burger place hands down. I love the variety of toppings that this place offers. Their garlic steak fries are amazing and I can down an entire basket on my own.
