Can’t get enough of this place. Great food and great value here. Despite the “hook” being that it’s owned and run by a Japanese couple, the food is not “fusion” oriented (I believe there are only 2 or 3 dishes on the menu that would really be considered fusion-y), which is kind of a relief.

However, I can’t recommend highly enough their Uni Pasta.

This place is pretty good. It’s run by a Japanese couple that used to own a restaurant in Rome. My buddy Armando who is an heir to the Bottega Veneta fortune and who used to own a restaurant in Milan thinks this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. It’s fun to eat at the bar.

The owner(s) of this restaurant is Japanese (I think…). Well, everyone in there is Japanese (waitors, hostess…etc.). I love their food. Servings aren’t large like traditional Italian restaurants, which is good for me. If you’re a first timer, I suggest you start with either smoked slice duck breast with watercress and arugala or the homemade pumpkin gnocchi. For entree, I always get linguine with five types of clams, but I heard that the spaghetti with parmesan reggaino cheese & Parma prosciutto is very good too. As for the dessert, I always get the chocolate molten cake also called the Volcano.
