Still one of the best dining values in San Diego

Last night we went to Humphrey’s in La Jolla … at the Sheraton Hotel. Opens at 5:30… was packed within 15 minutes… and should be. Service this time was spectacular… Allen.. great personality… joked with us… took excellent care of us… including Terri’s 88 year old dad… and like every visit before… food was excellent. Their “All inclusive Dinner for Two” has to be one of the best dining values in San Diego. $62.50, Excellent choice of Entry… each of the couple may have an individual choice… Soup or Salad… Wine… Merlot or Chardonnay… Coffee… Shared Desert… Creme Brulee or Chocolate Cake… and everything is well prepared and the experience is relaxed and fun. In a city like San Diego… with the dining experiences we have avaliable… it is amazing that a Hotel affiliated restaurant like this one would be an end destination. Try this out… pass the referal along… you will not be dissapointed.

Macadamia Encrusted Halibut

We have a freezer full of Fresh Caught Halibut and Salmon we caught in Alaska ourselves. This is the only place we order Halibut. The dish is wonderful. Thick, Juicy, perfectly cooked… and while beautifully served is even more pleasing to the palate. The Price relfected here is one half of the All inclusive meal for two… so is for Soup or Salad, Halibut Entry, Wine, choice of Merlot or Chardonnay… Coffee… and Desert… Creme Brullee or Chocolate Cake. Outstanding.
