From the Restaurant
Salt House Tavern - A 75-seat, contemporary tavern housed in an old printing press warehouse built in the 1930’s. Exposed brick, original hardwood floors, 12 foot windows and oversized rusted iron girders. Contemporary American fare ranging from raw bar plateaus to house made charcuterie, appetizers and heartier main dishes. Wines from all over the world as well as custom blended wines on tap; extensive cocktail list. Full menu anywhere you'll sit down - at the bar, the communal table, the front window counter or in the dining room and yes, serving everything until late at night.

excellent fish dishes. poorly done desserts. slow service...
excellent fish dishes. poorly done desserts. slow service. went for dinner & drinks, runs pricy. easier to sit at the communal tables then to get a private table. they stop reservations it seems at 4, so get in early. makes for interesting conversation. good ambiance.

Is it ironic that all the food tend to be a little too salty? Didn’t like the foie gras there. Didn’t like the detached service. The food was quite forgettable, as i have no more to write about this place.
