Bentara Restaurant was first open in Connecticut in the town of North Haven in April of 1995. In May 1997, the operation was moved to our present location in the historic district of Ninth Square. Bentara Restaurant offers a blend of all different ethnicity & influences from Indian & Chinese cultures as well as Dutch, Portuguese & English to produce a unique mixture of dishes in the Malaysian dining experience.

Wonderful Food

This place has the best food. I’m not a vegetarian but I prefer veggie dishes and tofu….so this place suites me to a tee. On occasion I need sea food and their Stingray is the best. I never would have thought of eating a stingray, but after having it once I am hooked.

I love it but still prefer to cook from home

It’s a nice restaurant. I like it. It is also fun to cook from home. I get my Malaysian easy to cook and ready to serve ingredients from www.asiansupermarket365.com
