Love it! Love it! Love it!

My daughter, who came out here from Georgia on vacation told me about this restaurant. The experience was outstanding. The people are friendly and the place was clean. I’m always looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant to try. I have been back several times and have never had a bad experience. The food is excellent.

On my several trips to try almost everything on the menu. My favorites are the smothered bean burrito and the cheese enchilada plate. I love their green chili plate also. Guacamole is to die for. I’m still trying their menu items but have not been disappointed!

Recommended By A Restaurant Owner

For price, value, and authenticity, this is an excellent choice. It was recommended to me by the owner of a Mexican restaurant we frequent as the place to go for sopa de siete mares (soup of the seven seas). I’ll take THAT kind of recommendation any day. It also seems to be very popular with the local Hispanic population, always a good sign when you’re a Mexican restaurant.

I’ve had a version made with jalapenos and one plain, and both are excellent.

    What you get:

For your money, you get basically two quesadillas. If you’re a light eater, you won’t need to order anything else. The tortillas are lightly cooked in oil. This is very authentic -- in Mexico, they usually don’t use non-stick cookware; hence, oil is used in everything. I use oil to make my quesadillas (olive oil) and it just adds extra. Also, they use, as far as I can tell, real key lime juice in their guacamole (the quesadilla is served with sour cream and guac) -- again, an authentic recipe. Mmmm…

It’s a winner in my book! I really liked it with the jalapenos.
