5.0Situated on 66th Street between Madison and Fifth Avenue, this townhouse turned bistro makes me giddy with every visit. I insist upon treating myself to the baby artichoke salad and steak tartare upon every visit – I could eat them all day and night until I burst. I highly recommend following the first course with the black cat burger. Steve Cuzzo/New York Post agrees that your inner francophile will not be disappointed. I’m also admittedly addicted to the braised short ribs with artichoke puree in the winter time. Nothing warms me up better!
Top everything off with a few bottles pinot noir, a side of truffle parmesan fries and an order of decadent profiteroles….c’est manifique!
Be sure to air-kiss the stunning owner on your way out. Suzanne is a stylish southern girl turned foodie extraordinaire, and she makes each and every visit to the UES worthwhile.
Pure heaven.
