east coast style deli with real character
I never wandered around old Bellevue much – but now I’m sorry I didn’t because I would have known about this place! This is an old Bellevue favorite and a very popular lunch spot. An East cost style deli owend by an Eastcoaster named Gilbert (of course). It definetely has that feel. They make all their food there too.
On Saturday when I went they had live music – a guy singing Sinatra songs. We even saw Gilbert himself come out with his bow-tie and all to greet some of the customers.
This place is awesome and the food was great. Can’t wait to come back here and try more of the food! Especially the special crepes.

Greek Omelette
Delicious omlette with feta, spinach, tomatoes, olives, and red onions – comes with a freshly baked bagel w/ cream cheese and jam and red potatoes on the side.
it's not worth it
A lot of people rave about this place but when I went there for lunch, I found myself paying a lot of $ for a sandwich and some soup that I didn’t even like. The only thing nice about this place was that though small, it’s got a nice atmosphere and some outside seating.
