BJ’s is a nice brewhouse that seems like it is always packed. People are always waiting outside and inside, either to get a table, or for take-out. The restaurant is dimly lit, and has a humongous flatscreen tv, which the whole restaurant can see (unless you are sitting outside).

They offer a large variety of food, from deep dish pizzas, ribs, lasagna, salads, and fish and chips. There is probably something for everyone there. The most noteworthy item is the pizookie, which is fresh cookie with ice cream piled on top. Definitely worth checking out for dessert lovers.

The pricing seems fairly standard, not too expensive, but not for the cheap-o’s. Oh, and their beer ain’t bad too.

BJ’s is great for getting some beer and drinks and watching sports. There’s plenty of tables and an outside patio, but the bar area gets really crowded during happy hour – so go really early if you want to sit. We didn’t get a table so we just sat in the dining area and got a pitcher (which isn’t a bad deal anyways).

The food was only mediocre. All the dishes at the table were way smaller than I expected and everyone totally cleared their plates. Quite the opposite of other American restaurants and it’s not like their food is cheap. Food-wise, it’s a better deal to go to somewhere like Elephant Bar or Cheesecake Factory.

But if you want beer, they’ve got a nice selection. I usually get the pale ale.
