Lunch Special

Bang for buck. The lunch special is very filling. I usually order the lunch special which includes some sort of steamed or grilled fish over the sushi rolls or chicken katsu.

I think the pricing is the most attractive part. It is ALWAYS busy here during lunch time, almost no place to park (hence park at the bellevue park).

Though, they are busy the waitresses seat you down quickly and tea comes quick.

Food comes quick too.

Though it’s a Japanese restaurant, I don’t think all the dishes are japanese style, I think it’s mixed with some Chinese style… But I guess it’s you get what you pay for. Nonetheless I recommend the lunch specials.

love the rolls here!

i’ve been finding myself coming to ginza more and more when i’m in the sushi-mood… they have some great rolls: fresh ingredients, and a good price for the quality and size!

they do take reservations, and there’s a large table set to the side/back of the restaurant (the kind of enclosed “room” with paper-y sliding doors), making it a pretty good choice for larger parties. haha and maybe the sliding doors can be used as part of a surprise or something :)

What I ate:

easily my favorite roll on the menu :) it’s a spicy tuna roll (generous with the tuna, and definitely feel the kick of the spicy sauce too!), topped with slices of avocado and white tuna sashimi. delicious! :)

  • ***

i’m not a huge fan of tempura shrimp in general, but since most people like it in sushi rolls, i end up trying it at a bunch of places :) i have to say that this variation is pretty good with the addition of avocado and unagi on top.

  • ****

a classic salmon roll (with cucumbers i think…). but definitely tasty, high-quality, and hits the spot when you are craving some sushi. not to mention, what a deal!

good food and nice dining experience

This restaurant is definitely above average in terms of food and service. The sushi is really fresh! It’s also nice to go there and have the Japanese tapas for something different. I would say the service is pretty good. They always serve you some fruit in a nicely decorated little dish at the end of your meal. It’s probably just their way to be fancy or something but I think it’s a thoughtful little gesture for the customers anyhow. :)

What I ate:
  • ****

it’s basically soup with clam and tofu… this was tasty

  • *****

i am not really a tempura person but this was excellent

  • *****

two piece in a order. the fish was really good!!!

Fine quality sushi in Bellevue

The best thing about Ginza is the quality of the food. I’ve never been disappointed with what I’ve tried, and the extra options for Japanese tapas makes choosing even harder. The prices are a bit higher than other Japanese restaurants but you’re getting what you paid for.

What I ate:

Fantastic flavor at a decent price.

best option for quality Japanese food in Bellevue

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The quality of the fish was very good. Hard to find good Japanese food on the Eastside other than Rikki Rikki in Kirkland. This has a bit of upscale atmosphere inside but still comfortable.

Pretty good food with lots of little dishes to order from

If you go here, you can either go the “traditional” route, and order food like Salmon Teriyaki, or Chicken Katsu. Or, you can go the more “Japanese” route and get those little tapas.

    Very tasty! And filling!
