I recently ate at Blue Hill. The entrance was a little crowded and akward to manuever with people coming and going at. The decor is muted but nice. I ordered the tasting menu so as best to see the range of dishes offered. I was not disappointed by any of them and was wowed only by the desset. Scallops were nicely cooked with a good mix of flavours. The capon was moist but was slightly salty for my liking. The pork dish was actually very good. Crispy on the outside, tender pink and juicy on the inside. Dessert was an apple tart which was excellent. The portions are small (butI didnt leave hungry). There are so many great places in NYC that I probably would not head back anytime soon but I certainly would recommend it as the food was very good, service was decent (though there was a bit long of a wait between dishes IMO), and the price was quite reasonable for what you got.
