Let me start by saying this is my second visit to Bombay Cuisine, and the second visit was a definite disappointment. I went today for the excellent buffet and the top-notch naan. What I got was a newly renovated building (which looks great, but that’s another topic) with an owner who had decided to renovate the menu as well. No more buffet, and you have to ASK for the naan! If you don’t request it (for 90 cents extra, by the way), then you get, of all things good and holy, a pita. Indians don’t eat pita in India. Indians eat pita in Greece. Now don’t get me wrong, the food itself was freakin’ awesome. I had the Chicken Masala with NAAN, and it was great. 5 stars for the food, 5 stars for the atmosphere, but 1 star for service. Waiter was a little unclear with the new menu, but was overall, a good guy. I say, go ahead and try it, but ask the waiter what the most popular dishes are, and stay with those. With no buffet to try new things, you might be getting something completely unpalatable otherwise. Enjoy.

04/10/2009At least this way, the food comes fresh out of the kitchen instead of sitting in a steam table. :)
