Broders Pasta Bar

I would argue that Broders is one of the best Italian restaurants in town. Family owned, fresh and original. Broders offers a variety of Italian dishes and everything is homemade and fresh from the bread to the pasta to the desserts.

The dining area is small, but warm and inviting. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly, making the dining experience all the more satisfying. The average table fits about 2-4, but they do allow for bigger parties if you call in advance. There is a hightop bar in the middle where people sit and dine and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs as they prepare your food.

The menu is a good size and includes enough variety so that everyone will be able to find something they can enjoy. They also change their menu according to what is in season and always have some great specials available. Their head chef Michael Rostance is amazing.

It is sometimes tough to get in at certain times because they do not take reservations. They do allow calls in advance to put you on the waiting list (up to an hour before), but you whole party must be there in order to be seated. With the warmer weather waiting out front isn’t so bad. Servers also come outside and server wine and beer to those patiently waiting to be seated and probably even to those not so patient.

I highly recommend Broders’ Pasta Bar. You will not be disappointed.
