Two eggs, two fat pieces of toast, and perhaps the largest pile of hash browns I’ve ever seen. The eggs were cooked precisely over medium. Yum. The toast was made from thick slices of soft, dark wheat bread. I usually like my bread with a little more bite, but alongside the mountain of potatoes, this bread fits rather nicely.

And the potatoes. Mmmm, the potatoes. Is it possible for hash browns to have cream in them? I ask because these are some lush hash browns: They feel almost like scallopped potatoes that have been grilled until they get a little crusty on the outside. A little bit of crunch, and then soft and creamy tasty. I ate about half of the big pile, I think.

A teriyaki chicken breast, char-broiled with melted swiss and grilled pineapple. Served on a toasted French roll (homemade!!) with mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato (which I took off).

Very yummy!!! I nearly died and went to heaven. This was the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

Creamy and delicious, this soup had lovely chunks of potato and clam in it. I enjoyed every delicious bite. I had this instead of fries with my Aloha Chicken Sandwich I had on Monday. It’s better than Ivar’s, but not as good as my husbands. Of course, I’m a little biased…

Are we sensing a trend here? I love pineapple on my burgers! Makes them so juicy. :) My shirt came out a little worse for wear after polishing off this beauty. Did I mention the homemade bun and homemade kettle-fried french fries? I didn’t? Well shame on me…

Okay, I splurged. On my way out yesterday I splurged on a homemade peanut butter cookie. Delicious. My only complaint: it should have been taken out of the oven sooner. It was a bit over done. I prefer my cookies medium-rare.
