Bubbaque’s is the best place around for down home BarBQ.. They blow Sonny’s and First Choice away.. The place is clean and neat and the way the inside is made up, it is an awesome place to eat. A great addition for Brandon, Fl and a fun experience for kids to adults.. I rate it 5 stars.

don’t waste your time.
I had a mother clucker and it was the smallest breast I’d ever seen, was microwaved and had a TINY TINY piece of bacon on it – not even a strip of bacon.
sure, it had been “smoked”, but was reheated fast-food garbage.
other sides were no better. beans out of a can. sure! mac-n-cheese from school. sure! yucky normal frozen stuff thrown in a fryer. sure!
yes, go there and then find that this is just fast food with a “BBQ” label stuck on it to make people try it.

i won’t name competitor names, but if you actually find this review, just do a search for bbq in brandon or valrico and you’ll have a MUCH more rewarding experience.

sure, there’s “chain” stuff on the walls… big deal. it looks fancy but the food rots. i’d give them a year, if that long, since they can’t cook real bbq.

We ate there today as a church group and must say it is the best BBQ around here. We have tried first choice in the past and their food was greasy and we sat inside a hot box they called a dining area, and was unplesant. The food at Bubbaque’s was very good and tasteful, we did not see any of the issues the complaint below mentioned, our food was fresh and the service was great. The baby back ribs were tender and good with a variety of sauces that made it even better. The service was prompt and the dining room was eventful with all the gadgets on the walls, it made for a neat place to eat. When we left, we smelled the smoke from the smoker out back and it was good to know that the food was real pit grilled like the front window said, We will definately be back and welcome a clean, air conditioned place to brandon, it was much needed!!
