lots of food for cheap

Steve’s is way in the back of the “Asian ghetto.” They serve Korean BBQ for a cheap price. The meal will probably be around 6-7 dollars for a massive pile of meat. It comes with rice, bean sprout salad, and kimchi. The sprouts were handy when you needed to eat something that wasn’t meat. The kimchi was very mediocre. The restaurant isn’t one to look at, and definitely could be maintained better.

They do cook your food fairly fast, and I know that they cooked my dish fresh since I saw the guy take a clump of raw meat and start to cook it. If you are craving lots of meat and don’t want to shell out lots of cash, then Steve’s is a reasonable choice. The food, while not the greatest BBQ, does have lots of flavor and gets the job done.

What I ate:
  • ***

Lots of boneless pork meat, full of BBQ flavor. Some pieces were all fat, which was kind of annoying, but to be expected out of pork. It’ll make you full, unless you have an unreasonable appetite. The rice is kind of mushy, and the kimchi was unspectacular.
