Tasty!

I’m skeptical about restaurants in redmond in general coz they’re the usual american burgers and fries fare. I’m also not too much of a mexican food fan so I was pleasantly surprised by this place.

Haha, next time i know where to go to get my spicy food fix. This dish is FIERY! It’s prawns and mushrooms in some red curry sauce served with rice and tortillas. I skipped the tortillas and guacamole, and was still very stuffed from the meal. The prawns were fresh and had the right mix of spice that it leaves a burning feeling on your tongue and yet sooo addictive that you can’t stop eating. Ah…reminds me of the bbq seafood dishes we get in Singapore (guess that’s not mexican at all!), back home we would call this “shiok ah!”

happy happy hour!

Great happy-hour atmosphere + Good food (for happy-hour dishes anyway) + Average service + Great location (if you’re an east-side person) + Reasonable prices (5.99 HH food & 2.70 or so for a pint on tap) = I would come here over Claim Jumpers for happy hour any day.

Great burgers and sandwiches

Pros:

  • Great food
  • Friendly service
  • Plasma TVs everywhere
  • Free wifi (supposedly for Fantasy Football, but I’m sure anyone can use it)
  • Happy hour
  • Tasty seasoned fries

Cons:

  • Little pricey for burgers and sandwiches

Overall great experience. Great enough to go back the same day for happy hour!

What I ate:
  • ****

Topped with tons of juicy mushrooms and it’s a 1/2 lb. patty.

  • ****

The prime rib was very tender and the sandwich was toasted nicely.
