My malaysian friend said the food here reminds her of her mom’s cooking which is a good sign of authenticity. We ordered a spicy eggplant dish which had a great kick and very flavorful. We also got the fried fish with thai sauce and it too was full of flavor with onions and peppers. Lastly, we got a noodle dish with seafood mixed in. It wasn’t as salty as the other dishes but a good balance with the other dishes. Overall, really enjoyed the meal. However, i didn’t appreciate the waiter pushing the bill on us so they could close. There were still other ppl in the restaurant eating so I didn’t see what the rush was for. Minus that, it is a great restaurant and would definitely go again to try more dishes.

I love this restaurant. Malaysian is the perfect mix between Chinese and Indian in my opinion. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant has several locations and the food is consistently great at all of them.
I usually start out with the Roti Canai as an appetizer because it’s better than what most Indians can make at home. The roti is flaky and soft, and the potato curry is a perfect blend of spices.
I follow it up with the mango salad, fried calamari, and the beef curry with more roti.
There aren’t enough enough good things to say about this restaurant. The portions aren’t too large, so it’s always a good idea to order a couple extra orders, and it’s reasonably priced. The tables turn over pretty fast, but I would still make reservations
best Malaysian food in town
This restaurant never fails me. Malaysian food is kind of a cross between Indian, Chinese, and Thai and they’ve got a wide variety of different dishes to choose from. The food here is always tasty. This restaurant can get pretty busy – so if you’re coming for dinner on a weekend reservations might be good.
The inside is kind of cool because it is actually decorated like a hut (hence the name).
Lunch specials are awesome and you get plenty of food. Great place for spicy food lovers!
