Panini's and more...

MMM…..Several homemade panini sandwiches to choose from. I love the spinach madeline panini. Lots of cheese, shrimp, steamed spinach and a pesto all warm and yummy hot off the panini press. I’ve also had their French Market Garden Pizza- lots of artichoke, feta, tomatoes, spinach, garlic, and more on a perfectly oven roasted pizza.

The Crescent Spoon

This unassuming place appears small. Once inside you find it has a nice size dining room behind the coffee shop.
There is nothing you can order that would not please you. My personal favorite is Spinach Madeline Panini. There are many Paninis, Wraps, SaladsPizza, sandwichs, burgers, dessert of the day. My favorite is the bread pudding with almond slivers and cherries with sweet thick cream on top. My granddaughter liked the brownie topped with ice cream. It is known as the “Home of the Weenie Panini”. (On the kids menu this is a Teenie Weenie Panini…. a plain hot dog with plain chips) Nice atmosphere, nice staff and the chef/owner comes out now and then and is friendly as well.SBC

What I ate:
  • *****

Creamed spinach as you can only find here in New Orleans, grilled shrimp with reak N. O. flavor and Mozzarella cheese on a panini.

  • ****

Breaded Veal , Marinara sauce and Mozzarella cheese on a panini. Elcellent. The only reason this is not a 5 star is that I am so hooked on the Spinach Madeline Panini.
