Great all around place...
I’ve heard great things about this restaurant and finally had the opportunity to come by for some happy hour… I’ll come back for lunch/dinner some other time….
First off, the view is spectacular! Nice bellevue/seattle view… The atmosphere felt like an old classic style restaurant/bar..
The service was right on expectation! our server was very friendly and told us what the specials were for happy hour and what was recommended between the different draft beers. She came by to check on us several times to see if there was anything we needed, how the food was, etc.
We did not have to wait long for our food… Everything was hot and tasted really good.
Photos uploaded were taken with my iPhone (will bring a camera next time)

SEARED AHI TUNA
Avocado, Wasabi, ponzu vinaigrette…
This dish was amazing! To eat the seared ahi tuna with the avocado at the same time… just yummy!
-
BACON WRAPPED SCALLOPS
Grilled, Sambuca butter sauce
I thought this was very rich, and heavy, the scallops were not small. I thought it was a perfect combo, the scallops and the toasted bread… Very delicious!

They have the best steak that I've had in the Puget Sound...
They have the best steak that I’ve had in the Puget Sound area. It is definitely better than the branches of the franchised high-end steak restaurants that we have on the Eastside or in Seattle. Really great service and ambience (as well as view). It’s really expensive, though.
Expensive...tasty...a place to hit occasionally?
The ambience is great. It’s probably a very good place to take a date to. The price is by no means cheap, but their food is very reasonable (then again, I’m not sure if the steak is worth it for the price).
Happy Hour food is even a bit skimpy when it comes to the amount of food that you get, but hey, at least it’s still good.
You may have a long wait to sit in the restaurant area, so just go to the bar area if you want to grab a quick bite. You can get the full menu in the bar.
The view is great because it’s at the top of one of the buildings. You can see downtown Seattle assuming it’s not too gloomy.
Free parking is always a plus for these kinds of restaurant ;)

Lobster Bisque
Very good. I’ve never been served a bisque with the bowl and the soup coming out at a different time. Kind of pricy, but was definitely good.
-
Foie Gras
I’ve never had what I consider to be a bad foie gras, but this kicked some serious butt.

- My meal cost
- more than $50
