Cozy neighborhood staple diner

Even though I grew up in the area and passed by this place countless times, I’d never given Bobbi’s a try until today. Now I regret that I hadn’t discovered this comfortable breakfast spot sooner.

Bobbi’s, located at the intersection of Highway 85 and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road has been a local fixture for 30+ years now, and there’s good reason for its longevity – they’ve got a great combination of good food, good prices and good, personable service.

The menu is simple and consists of standard American breakfast fare, and the ambiance is humble and cozy, but all the pieces come together well to provide a comfortable and pleasant dining experience. It’s a great place to catch up with an old friend or two.

A potentially tasty scramble of spinach, onions and ground beef, this one came out a bit underflavored. The hash browns were great and crispy, though.
