Great option for Thai on the Eastside

I’ve been coming to Thai Ginger a lot more recently, for good reason. The ambiance is attractive, with great wooden scaffolding and dark lighting. Service is consistently prompt and even friendly sometimes, and the food itself is tasty and on the spicy side. Make sure to get here early to avoid the crazy Microsoft lunch crowd – the place gets packed and the wait for a table gets really annoying.

What I ate:

Thai Iced Tea

Pretty standard thai iced tea – more cream than what I’m used to.
Halibut Cheeks

Lots and lots of fish in this dish, and the curry flavor was pretty good. Had enough to take leftovers home.
Satay

Soft chicken pieces grilled just right, with awesomely rich peanut sauce.
Spring Rolls

Just ok – the spring rolls themselves could’ve been bigger.
