i want to like this place
the staff are attentive, the place is cheerful, the menu pleasantly varied and the dishes are served as quickly as possible. the several times i’ve been one or another of our selections hasn’t been as good as we expected. but, i keep going back because it is a nice place to eat. the first time we went in, we ordered poutine, the gravy tasted like it was made from a mix and the cheese didn’t squeak. the fries were really good. next time we just ordered the plain fries with soup of the day. excellent.

onion, nice flavour with crunchy croutons from real bread, not a distant cousin out of a packet.

touch of France
I have been to France many times, and walking in always puts me back there in my mind, which is why I love supporting this new business. YES some of the menu is Canadianized, but I dont think thats such a bad thing, it is merely PART of its whole. Some things are also pricey, true, but welcome to France! I’d rather pay more for something wonderful than less for something average. If the only thing they offered were the croissants and pastries, the trip is worth while! There are plenty of little gems they offer that you cant get easily elsewhere.
