it was parfait!
Every time I go to Brussels Bistro, I am never disappointed. The atmosphere is so laid back with the music in the background and the conversations in French happening all around you. The waiters are generous and helpful. The food is deliciously comforting. Think Hachis Parmentier. What is it you ask? Mashed potatoes, ground meat (beef) and its juice, arranged in layers in a dish with cheese on top, cooked in the oven to be gratiné (au gratin). And, could you ask for anything more than Chimay on tap?
