alright ice cream, but pretty expensive
Loard’s seems like an old fashioned type of ice cream restaurant. The decor conveys this, along with the fact that there are old school pez dispensers in a corner. The ice cream I thought was kind of expensive, but it did have a smooth, rich taste. I didn’t feel the ice cream was that much better than a chain place like ben and jerrys and baskin robins. If you are in Orinda and crave ice cream, its not a bad place to check out, but if you are looking for really delicious ice cream, I’d check some place else.

Strawberry Ice Cream
I got one scoop, though it was a pretty large, so I didn’t feel too ripped off. It had some strawberries in it, so it made me feel that the ice cream was slightly more authentic. Strawberry is always a winner.
