This is just an average Thai place in my opinion even though I didn’t tryout several dishes. I ordered the Drunken noodles. The noodles were clumpy. Taste was just average. It was served on a plate with half rice and half noodles. Usually when I order a noodle dish, it is all noodles for the similar price. The food did come out extremely fast. Overall, wasn’t terrible but would probably try out a different thai place rather than other things on the menu here.
Acceptable thai in the University District
Came here after finding Thai Tom down the street incredibly crowded (as usual). I heard that Thaiger Room shared ownership with Thai Tom, but the experience here just wasn’t as good as it had been there. We were seated at a table near the open kitchen, which turned out to have a constant draft that caused our food to get cold pretty quickly.
The service was more than acceptable, and it was nice to watch the chefs cook your order in the open kitchen, but the food wasn’t as tasty as I would have preferred. Nevertheless, I’d come back here in a pinch, if the wait at Thai Tom is too long.

Drunken Noodle
A bit dry for my tastes. The noodles were too clumpy.
-
Swimming Rama
I’m a fan of both spinach and peanut sauce, and this dish had them in spades. The sauce tasted a bit artificial.
