Monk McQueens is a dynamic, large scale, duel dining room waterfront restaurant/patio located in False Creek, Vancouver, BC. Specializing is the freshest seafood available, we regularly offer Wild BC Salmon, Pacific Halibut, Ahi Tuna, Clams, Mussels, and a wide variety of fresh raw Oysters! For the meat eaters in your group, we also offer great steaks, Lamb and duck entrees. Monks is located minutes away from the GM Place, major hotels, Granville Island and the future home of the Olympic Village. We are situated along the seawall with views of Yaletown, two bridges, the Vancouver City scape including the mountains and host some of Vancouver's best events and people. We offer spectacular views from both dining rooms and patio. Overrated!
I have also eaten at this resturant many times as my office is situated in the same plaza. The food is okay but in no way spectacular. Service is not better then every other place which explains my tipping.
However, two thumbs up for the patio and view. If you are visiting Vancouver and want to see the city, this is a great location. Patio is huge but mostly full during the summer season. Make reservations!
