Soso

The service was great, the decor was nice….but overall the food wasn’t too great and got kinda pricey. For 4 girls, we spent about $18/ person. So I wouldn’t really recommend it. But the place is somewhat trendy and nice.

Fresh Sushi

Asian fusion place and the menu at first glance looks very fusionized, but you can get fresh sushi if you look deeper.

Our chef sushi plate for two, came with a big variey of sushi. Sushi I’ve never tried before like geoduck, monkfish liver, a different type of sweet shrimp were all excellent. There were real crabmeat as well. The decor of the plate was excellent, the celery and carrot very fancifully cut. Some of the sushi came on an ice plate carved like a maple leaf. The quantity of the sushi was excellent, enough for two.

Delicious food!

I’ve been here a few times and have always been super pleased with the food. This restaurant is part of the Hotel Max and so not a lot of people frequent it—it’s really easy to come in on a Friday night and get a table, which is surprising considering how great the food is. Although their sushi is superb, they offer a lot more than sushi, such as Lobster Pad Thai and wine-infused mussels. I love their Uptown California Roll which comes with Shrimp Tempura—also, they offer all their sushi and rolls with brown rice.
