The Padthai is too salty/flavory. However it’s a great place to eat if you’re nearby the area.

Yes Thai

It is a small restaurant, clean and neat. Service was pretty good.

It tasted very good in the first couple of bites…then, i realized that it was a bit too salty. However, it wasn’t too sweet, like most Thai foods.

unexpected thai surprise

what a surprise this place was! judging by the big dingy sign visible from the street (it’s hard to miss), i thought i was in for some hole ’n the wall quicky thai food, but i was amazed to walk into a nice, cozy, homely restaurant serving $7-$8 lunch specials.

although i’ve had better thai food in the city, yes thai does serve alright food in a respectable setting for reasonable prices. i would not go out of my way to eat here, but if i were in the area (i.e. on my way to Swedish Hospital, about a 5 minute drive away), i wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again for a quick meal.

service, as in most thai places, was pleasant.

came with broccoli, which tasted fresh & slightly crunchy (just how i like it). but, a prevailing taste of “burned/charred”, like it had been cooked in a burned pan didn’t mesh well w/my tastebuds.
