Ate here last week. The room is down a couple...
Ate here last week. The room is down a couple of steps, cramped and has bad lighting. Reservations got a bit mixed up for some unknown reason. But the food was great. We did omakase of sushi and sashimi, and we tried every notable fish they had in the place. Ikura was not the dyed, flavorless orange balls you see everywhere else, but instead a bit brown and so flavorful. Abalone had just the right texture, and squid was cut perfectly. We had a couple of pieces of toro that were too fatty and rich for me to eat, as well some seared salmon that was the perfect texture. There was a lot more I can write about, but instead I’ll just say, “Go.” Just don’t take all the reservations.
