AWESOME!!!!

Hugo’s always has amazing food, yes it is a little pricey!! BUT the service is always wonderful and experienced (new people always come, but they are trained very well) the bartenders make wonderful drinks and the chefs are unbelievable!! I can always count on a great meal. They have amazing Oysters Rockefeller, Crab Cakes, Steaks, Soups, Stuffed Lobster!!!
Try it and you won’t be sorry!!

Expensive, and can’t say I really remember much about it, except they’ve got $1.00 seafood gumbo (highly recommended) with any entrees, and their seafood is decent, though it’s a bit drowned out in their sauces. There is something I’d recommend: the crabcake for appetizer. It’s a great combination of lump crab meat with tri-colored peppers, and sauteed crisp to perfection. Not drenched in oil like most other crabcakes i’ve had, this one tastes fresh, but not fishy. Just enough spice, and is good enough to share between 2-4, depending on how many appetizers you order. I would not recomend the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Too rich, too heavy, and too sweet.
