dim sum daily
after viewing the classical chinese garden on NW 3rd & Everett, my husband and i wandered our way to house of louie just a few blocks away for lunch. it had a sticker on the front glass door claiming to have won the 2005 Citysearch Best Chinese cuisine so we gave it a shot despite our reservations.
we had dim sum, and to our surprise, all the dim sum was served from 1 cart, which was tucked away kitty corner to our booth. surprisingly, the dim sum wasn’t too bad (i suppose better than what we were expecting), but again, it wasn’t spectacular.

all the dim sum is on 1 cart, and sits in the hallway. how fresh it is is another story. not too shabby though.

Tacoma Dim Sum
Food was decent, but not hot (It is a smaller resturant, especially for dim sum, so the the turn over is small). The selection of dishes was limited. No complaints about the service, but I did find a hair in one of my dishes…it actually did not bother me that much and to be fair, it could happen in any resturant. The sticky rice and baby bok choy was satisfying
