I can’t even begin to explain the divine food you’ll find in front of you here. Go for the lunch deal, here’s what I got: $12.50 for an unsweetened ice-tea (perfect for cleansing your palate in between tastes), the silkiest and most refreshing crab and avacado gaspacho, and the vegetarian sandwich (with uniquely-seasoned fries on the side) that inspired me to become a vegetarian in the first place. That’s how good this place is.
As for tapas recommendations, the aged Manchego cheese platter with lavender honey cannot be topped, eat every savory bite slowly. And then go for the Tortilla Espanola, with saffron aoili.
Up for dessert? The black currant rice pudding is heaven with the candied lemon and infused simple syrup on top, a complete new dimension to the dish. And the churros… you’ll be licking that chocolate sauce clean.

The food is absolutely amazing, the sangria is the best I’ve ever had, and there’s nothing like this in Philadelphia. It’s definitely a place to go with four or more people. However, you do need to make reservations far in advance, since this place is the one of the hardest to get a reservation for in Philly.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the city right now. everything is amazing, and its a great place to go with friends. Price and impossible reservations make it a once every month or two spot, but I could easily eat here at least once a week.
