Well last night we spent the evening here… and had a wonderful time. Different Maitre D… service was wonderful. Gracious… fun… and the meal was truly excellent.

We’ve eaten in several of the Vigilucci’s locations… if fact had them on our web site http://www.tpguess.com/restaur.htm for a couple of years. Then this Spring we went to Dinner at the Seafood & Steakhouse location in Carlsbad. It was a dinner for my Wive’s Birthday… with her 88 year old Dad and his wife. Food was excellent… always is. But the Maître d’ was incredibly insensitive even to the point of rude. We ignored it… maybe he had a bad day. This week we invited friends out to dinner… asked them where they’s like to go… and they said they had never tried the new Vigilucci’s in Carsbad… at the Beach. So we called… and got reservations for Dinner tonight. On the phone… the same Maître d’ was again incredibly short with us… and we are off to a bad start on what is going to be a very expensive meal. It’s a shame that restaurant owners don’t have some secret shopper type of person… that can let them know about details like this. This would easily be a five star… and we would look forward to going back. But after the reservation call… we are looking forward to being treated rudely again… what a shame. Table waiter was great.
