Not What Was Expected.....
The food was okay as it didn’t taste as authentic as I thought it would taste. The place really did seem more modernized by corporate America than I thought and the food reflects that. The food was quite expensive for what they gave you. Sure they give you large portions but could be better if everything wasn’t around 7 dollars. Also, they don’t give chips like a lot of places do, even though they do tell you that they make their own and it costs more. But location wise and food wise, it’s okay. Could be better.

huge burritos
I finally got around to trying Chipotle, after all the hype that some of my friends gave it. A new one just opened on Telegraph right next to campus, giving it prime location. I thought the burrito was good, but a little overrated. I have definitely had better burritos. Chipotle definitely lacks the Mexican atmosphere that I like at Mexican restaurants and there is something artificial about it all.
Chipotle works kind of like Subway, in that you can watch them make it and tell them what you you want in it. That is convenient and you get your burrito much faster than other places this way. It’s also nifty how you can choose different styles, like the burrito bowl or fajita burrito. The burritos are pretty massive, and will fill up anyone that eat’s it except for maybe the really big eaters. They were so big, that I couldn’t get all of the stuff inside in one bite. That disappointed me because some bites would have too much rice, or just mainly be meat or something. Anyways, this place is good to go to if you want to fill up on burritos. You probably get more food here than at La Burrita, and the prices are pretty similar. You definitely get your money’s worth. You might get bigger portions here, but the other Mexican restaurants arguably have better food and burritos. Some people probably think I am wrong in my rating, because my roommate loves this place.

Barbacoa
A large burrito with tasty meat, although too big to even get everything in one bite. That’s good and bad.
