we were very surprised the ambiance is warm and comfortable romantic yet suitable for groups and great for children. The servers were all very friendly and sincerely nice. No stuffiness at all. The busser greated us gave us water and then again welcomed us and gave some little hints of great things that were fresh that dya which was most of the menu. They catered to our daughter who has special needs for dietary reasons ans seemed happy to almost excited. Chris the chef just asked what she did not like or could not eat and ran wit it for four courses WOW. apps to dessert was very simple and clen well presented and the flavors were well defined but not over powering. This was probably one of the best dining expierances we have had in a very long time in portland and I travel and take out clienst weekly.Chef chris even made time to come out and make sure we were happy with the evening it again so refreshing to see that they care so much about what they do. I am so happy to find a restaurant were we talked about when we were going to go back on the way home. Do not miss out this is a real hidden gem.
