Benjarong Thai Cuisine

I gave this restaurant 3 stars because of the delicious fresh rolls where as the other dishes I’ve tried are good but not consistantly good.
The first time I tried the Kow Pad Pineapple it was very good with the pineapple grilled and flavorful, the cashews
crunchy and the snowpeas firm. The second time I had it however, it had too much curry and the rice was sticky. I asked for fried tofu in the dish and they forgot to fry it.
For my visit last evening the Kow Pad was better but not as good as my first visit. The cashews were soggy and the pineapple had no flavor. I won’t be eating there again in the near future.

What I ate:
  • *****

A wonderfully flavorful appetizer. Red and green leaves with thin noodles, fresh cilantro and basil wrapped in rice paper. The sweet and sour peanut sauce is great. It comes stuffed with shrimp but we substituted tofu.

  • ***

The dish was very sweet tasting. The noodles tasted like they’d been fried. Not our favorite.

  • *****

Deep fried rolls stuffed with vegetables and served with plum sauce. Very good with a light taste.
