It makes sense that it's always packed

It really does. The pizzas are pretty tasty, the beer’s good. I mean, what more can you ask for? :p

I’ve been to this BJ’s several times. For dinner, it’s always had a decent wait. For a lunch time once (though I suspect it’s because it was on NY’s eve day), I didn’t have to wait. Either way, you have two ways to attack: get a pager, and do a stakeout near the bar (if you’re 21+). Only once at a BJ’s in LA area, we had to find another place to eat because the wait for the 3 of us would have been 1.5+ hours.

So yah, the wait can be pretty long….

They have typical American food, and decent beer. I’ve only remember the taste of the most recent beer that I had with them, but I liked it. Pizzas are good too and definitely filling.

And…drum roll…Pizookie! (sp?). Basically a big cookie with ice cream on the top. How can you NOT get that if it’s available in the menu. :)

Over all feeling of this place is just a fun sports-bar like place (lots of TVs). Service was just right as well.

I really don’t have anything to complain about this place, except that you may not be able to eat here if the wait is too long (and you’re too hungry). But Oakridge has been upgraded fairly recently so even if you have a long wait, you can walk around the mall, or just go to Border’s and chill there till it’s about your time. I think that it’s worth the wait.

What I ate:

Very good. Very filling. Definitely a pizza to try.

This was ok. Wasn’t impressive, but wasn’t gross. I’ve had better BBQ Chicken Pizzas else where.

  • ****

I’m always in search of beer that I can actually enjoy drinking. This is one of them. :)

  • ****

I liked it. The chips were crispy and well done. The dip was good too. They were nice enough to give us more chips when we ran out of them too.

    Fries-Good. Cheese-Good. Chili-Good. Chili Cheese Fries-YUM.

  • *****

Ice cream on a freshly baked cookie. Do I really need to say more?
