Food is no doubt delicious and flavorful, Can’t go wrong with Calamari Fritto and Tiramisu here. Entree is largely proportioned and definitely have leftover to save room for some dessert. Service quality is not the greatest here depend on servers. Hmmm…totally a place for a quality date.

A great little gem in Lincoln Park. The food is great and comes in portions that don’t give you a heart attack. The wine list is always top notch. I wish the service was more consistent, some nights I’m treated like a son, and others like a son-in-law. Make sure to get on their mailing list as they’re always sending out coupons.

Sapori fan

Very cute interior in this Lakeview Italian restaurant. I must say I was very pleased with the service and of course, the food. I used one of those $59 coupons that you may receive in the mail (actually I asked the waiter about it) and got an order of bruschetta, house salad to share, 2 pasta dishes, a dessert and a bottle of wine! What a great deal for such awesome food.

Sapori Trattoria

Sapori reminds me a lot of my favorite Italian restaurants in my former stomping grounds – the North End of Boston. The resaurant in cozy and offers a nice soothing atmosphere. They also serve incredible homemade food that has already brought me back twice. Probably some of the best Italian food in Chicago.

This is simple traditional rigatoni with bolognese sauce but done incredibly well. The rigatoni is handmade at the restaurant and the bolognese is probably the best I ever had. One you eat the bolognese at Sapori you’ll never want to have it anywhere else.
