An execrable experience. I was told the service is bad, so better to sit at the sushi bar and get the food directly from Hiro. Hiro, however, was paying all the attention to his regulars, and the paltry items in our menu were coming at longer and longer intervals. The fish was good, but not out of this world. In the end we walked out hungry. Don’t go there. If you want good Japanese food in that area, try Nami – cheaper, and a better experience.

Love Hiro san. He’s awesome, a bit of a bad ass, but his food speaks for itself. Try the omakase, both kitchen and sushi bar, but bring a friend, it’s a lot of food. The fish is amazingly fresh, the flavours are so clean and delicate. If in season, try to get the uni, unbelievably tasty. The servers are nice, and fairly attentive, depending on how busy the restaurant is. If you can, sit at the bar and watch a master at work.
