A random coffee shop along the Kirkland waterfront – I came in here to get a piece of pie. I’m not a coffee expert so I can’t say how their coffee is – but the pie was pretty good, though heavy. The shop is really basic inside, a few tables and counter top space and a couple of outdoor chairs. They do offer free Wi-Fi. But it looks like they’re going for the all natural bare minimum wood look inside.
Pastry display had about 3 pies and a few different cookies and that sort of thing. Not a whole lot to choose from so I imagine most people come here for the coffee and free internet.
A very starchy pie – so if you like thick crust this is for you. Very dense. The rhubarb is really packed in – would have been better if not so dense. But it is a huge piece.
