Cafe Mio

On our trip to the New Paltz area, we stopped for breakfast at Cafe Mio. What a good move on our part. The food was just amazingly good due to the use of local foods and the freshest ingredients around to create these dishes. Every meal is described as one-of-a-kind and I can see why.

The Mio breakfast is a great way to start the day with two eggs, bacon, roasted potatoes, and toast. You will definitely taste the difference when eating the local ingredients because of the freshness you taste with each bite. The roasted potatoes in particular make me want to stay here forever just because it is that good. My husband enjoyed an incredible Black Forest Han and Cheese Omelette. It looks like a simple dish but it is pack with so much great flavors with each bite.

What makes this place even more special is the how we were treated as soon as walked through the door. The service is impeccable. This spreads down from the owner, who also happens to be the chef, all the way down to our waitress. The place is bright thanks to the large windows allowing the natural light pouring through.

Cafe Mio is only open for breakfast and lunch, which explains its popularity through the early parts of the day. It’s great way to start off your morning or enjoy a good delicious lunch. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of food and service provided for you.
