long waits - watch out!
located next to The Claremont Hotel in the (much) nicer part of berkeley, rick & ann’s was a bit of a distance from campus…and as the lowly cal undergrad w/o a car, a trip here was a special treat.
it’s been a number of years since i’ve eaten here, but i remember it being very popular as a brunch destination, and i can’t imagine much has changed. the wait could be anywhere from 15-60 minutes, and parking is terrible…but there always managed to be a crowd waiting to eat here.
rick & ann’s is probably one of the best brunch places you’ll find in berkeley.

Best brunch in Berkeley. We waited over an hour for our table, but the service was friendly and the food is amazing – fresh ingredients and an excellent selection of items.
