Cargo - Worth Going Out of the Way
I am local to the area, and this is THE restaurant to visit for special occasions. There is a wide selection of menu items, each impeccably prepared. Being on the coast, the restaurant offers a good number of seafood dishes as well as beef, chicken and pork dishes. The crab cakes are the best I have ever tasted.
This is an award winning restaurant.
They are only open at night, closed on Sunday and Monday. The atmosphere is cozy and business casual. The wait staff is quite attentive.
The price would probably be classed in the high category, but it is definitely worth it.
Be sure to save room for the Georgia Peach Pound Cake with Jack Daniel’s sauce!
